(N/A) For a gas,the relationship between its molecular mass $(M)$,volume $(V)$,and density $(d)$ is given by the ideal gas equation $PV = nRT$.
Since $n = \frac{m}{M}$,where $m$ is the mass of the gas,we have $PV = \frac{m}{M}RT$.
Rearranging for density $(d = \frac{m}{V})$,we get $d = \frac{PM}{RT}$.
Thus,at constant temperature and pressure, the density of a gas is directly proportional to its molecular mass $(d \propto M)$.

If $2.5$ moles of an ideal gas at a certain temperature are allowed to expand isothermally and reversibly from an initial volume of $2$ $dm^3$ to $20$ $dm^3$, the work done by the gas is $-16.5$ $kJ$. $A$ spherical balloon of radius $3 \ cm$ containing helium gas has a pressure of $48 \times 10^{-3} \ bar$. At the same temperature, the pressure of a spherical balloon of radius $12 \ cm$ containing the same amount of gas will be........ $\times 10^{-6} \ bar$.

At temperature $T$,$1$ mole of $O_2$ gas (molar mass $32 \ g/mol$) is present in a container, exerting a pressure $P$. If $1$ mole of $He$ gas (molar mass $4 \ g/mol$) is placed in an identical container at temperature $2T$,what will be the pressure exerted by the $He$ gas?
