Vedclass · Answer

(A) The $Apoplast$ pathway is the system of adjacent cell walls that is continuous throughout the plant, except at the $Casparian$ strips of the endodermis in the roots.Water moves through the intercellular spaces and the walls of the cells in this pathway. It does not involve crossing any cell membranes, allowing for passive and rapid movement of water. Therefore, the correct option is $A$.
