These are known as vertebrochondral or false ribs. $3.$ The $11^{th}$ and $12^{th}$ pairs are not connected ventrally and are therefore called floating ribs. Thus,the $8^{th}, 9^{th}$ and $10^{th}$ ribs are the vertebrochondral ribs.
