(B) In cockroaches, the $10^{th}$ segment bears a pair of jointed filamentous structures called anal cerci in both sexes. However, male cockroaches possess an additional pair of short,thread-like anal styles, which are absent in females. Therefore, anal styles are a characteristic feature used to distinguish male cockroaches from females.
