Vedclass · Answer

(A) The 'eye' of a potato is an axillary bud located at the nodes of the potato tuber. These buds are capable of sprouting and developing into new potato plants through vegetative propagation. Since the potato is a modified underground stem, the nodes are represented by these eyes, and the buds present in them are axillary in nature.
