(C) The theory of special creation, which is a religious and philosophical concept, suggests that the Earth and all living organisms were created by a divine power. According to this theory, the Earth is considered to be very young, specifically about $4000$ years old. This stands in contrast to the scientific consensus based on geological and radiometric dating, which estimates the age of the Earth to be approximately $4.5$ billion years.

According to the theory of special creation, how old is the Earth?
