(D) High density polyethylene $(HDP)$ is produced by the addition polymerization of ethene in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst. This catalyst is a mixture of trialkylaluminium,such as $Al(CH_3)_3$,and titanium tetrachloride,$TiCl_4$. This process occurs at a temperature of $333 \ K$ to $343 \ K$ and a pressure of $6-7 \ 	ext{atmospheres}$. The resulting polymer consists of linear molecules,which allows for close packing and high density.
