(B) Louis Pasteur is famously known for disproving the theory of spontaneous generation. He demonstrated that life arises only from pre-existing life,a concept known as Biogenesis. He also developed the Germ Theory of Disease, which states that microorganisms are the cause of many diseases. However,in the context of the origin of life and evolutionary biology, his most significant contribution is the experimental proof of Biogenesis.
