(A) माना $I = \int \frac{2x}{(x^2+1)(x^2+3)} dx$.
$x^2 = t$ प्रतिस्थापित करने पर,$2x dx = dt$ प्राप्त होता है।
अतः,समाकलन $I = \int \frac{dt}{(t+1)(t+3)}$ हो जाता है।
आंशिक भिन्नों का उपयोग करते हुए,माना $\frac{1}{(t+1)(t+3)} = \frac{A}{t+1} + \frac{B}{t+3}$.
इससे $1 = A(t+3) + B(t+1)$ प्राप्त होता है।
$t = -1$ रखने पर,$1 = A(2) \Rightarrow A = \frac{1}{2}$.
$t = -3$ रखने पर,$1 = B(-2) \Rightarrow B = -\frac{1}{2}$.
अतः,$I = \int \left( \frac{1}{2(t+1)} - \frac{1}{2(t+3)} \right) dt$.
समाकलन करने पर,$I = \frac{1}{2} \ln|t+1| - \frac{1}{2} \ln|t+3| + C$.
$t = x^2$ वापस रखने पर,$I = \frac{1}{2} \ln \left| \frac{x^2+1}{x^2+3} \right| + C$,जहाँ $C$ समाकलन स्थिरांक है।
