(A) Green plants in an aquarium perform photosynthesis, which releases $O_2$ into the water.Fishes require this dissolved $O_2$ for respiration. If green plants are removed, the oxygen level in the water will gradually decrease due to the respiration of fishes and other microorganisms.Eventually, the lack of oxygen will lead to the death of the fishes. Therefore, the fishes will not survive.
